Marianists offering retreat for the whole family Minimize
Marianists offering retreat for the whole family

You wish you could slip away for a weekend retreat, but don’t want to leave the kids home alone? Bring them along!

Come to the Marianist Family Retreat, Aug. 30-31, on the Chaminade University/Saint Louis School campus.

Led by an experienced group of Marianist priests, brothers and lay people, the time away will offer parents, toddlers, preteens and teens prayer time, family dialogue, outdoor recreation and peer discussions.

It’s a great way to strengthen family bonds away from it all in a quiet, comfortable setting.

The Marianist Family Retreat program is based on the principal that the “family is intrinsically holy and sacred … the foundation of the church and the core of society.”

The purpose of the retreat is “to strengthen families by providing opportunities for growth, and experience of community and an affirmation of their essential holiness.”

The cost for a family of four or fewer is $75, plus $10 for each additional child. Fees cover five meals and all materials.

For more information, call Barb Belle at (937) 684-5680, or Brother Dennis Schmitz at 735-4801 or (cellphone) 232-6691.
